About
The small town of Batavia, Wisconsin was founded by settlers in 1851. In the beginning years, there were numerous businesses and services scattered upon one road that ran through the town. As time went on people moved, businesses came and went and the town became even smaller.

As of today there are only a handful of businesses that remain in Batavia, but this once saloon, tavern and now bar and restaurant has remained. The business has had numerous owners and has served multiple purposes along with being a bar since it was started in the mid 1850's.

It has been known by names such as The Tadder Tail Inn, Richardson's Tavern, and Horn's Valley Inn, but today it is known as JW Creekside. In most recent history, the bar and restaurant was purchased by Jeff Hiller in April of 2015, and is currently managed by Brian Eder.

JW Creekside may be located in the small town of Batavia, but it is worth the trip for some great food, a friendly atmosphere and even better company. It's where the locals go!
